HONESDALE – Rep. Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) today announced $331,443 in grants from the Local Share Account will be awarded to Wayne County for three projects. The funds come from a local share assessment on Mount Airy Casino.
MONTROSE – Xpress Natural Gas will receive $200,000 from the Alternative Fuel Incentive Grant (AFIG) program to purchase 10 compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, Rep. Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) announced today.

HARRISBURG – High school seniors can now apply for a Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship to help cover the costs of higher education, Rep. Jonathan Fritz (R- Susquehanna/Wayne) announced today.
It is of grave concern to learn that SCI Waymart is being considered for closure. SCI Waymart has long been viewed as the pre-eminent mental health correctional facility in the Commonwealth. That critical focus and mission, alone, should remove SCI Waymart from the list of facilities being considered for closure, but I will provide additional justification for keeping it operational.
